Starlight Children

Pluto lives a quiet life on the moon Nix Stiria — right up until he's chosen to be the star of his town's celebration, and the celebration is (checks notes) attacked by pirates. Sent down to the unfamiliar planet below and put in charge of a set of mysterious stones he does not fully understand, he meets Zera: a girl on Rosilir who has always wanted something more than what she's got. Neither of them was ever supposed to meet. Now neither of them gets a choice.
